Terms of service

Effective 9 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and PicIt. By creating an account or using PicIt you accept them, together with the privacy policy. They are short on purpose. Please read them.

Who you are dealing with

PicIt is run by Nikolaos Polychroniou, based in Greece. For any question about these terms, email privacy@picit-app.com.

Who can use PicIt

You must be 16 or older, give your real date of birth, and keep one account per person. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it.

Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility, so tell us right away if you think someone else has got into it.
  • Your username must not impersonate another person or business. We may reclaim a username that breaks these rules.

Your content

  • What you post stays yours. You give PicIt permission to store it, resize it and show it to the audience you chose, for as long as it is on PicIt — only so the service works, and nothing more.
  • Only post photos and text you have the right to share. If a photo shows someone else, make sure they are fine with their friends seeing it.

The rules

Do not use PicIt to:

  • post anything illegal, or that harasses, threatens or demeans a person or a group;
  • post sexual content, or content that shows or endangers a child;
  • share someone else's private information, such as their phone number or address;
  • pretend to be someone you are not;
  • send spam, run bots or automated tools, or copy data out of PicIt;
  • try to break into accounts, get around limits, or interfere with how PicIt works.

What we may do

If content or an account breaks these rules, we may remove the content, suspend or close the account, and where needed to protect others do so without notice. If that happens to you and you think it was wrong, email privacy@picit-app.com and we will look again.

PicIt is early

PicIt is a new, small service. Features can change, pause or be removed as it grows, and we will try to give notice of significant changes. If PicIt ever has to shut down, we will give reasonable notice where we can so that you can save what matters to you.

Ending things

You can stop using PicIt at any time, and delete your account and everything in it from Profile → Settings → Delete account, as described in the privacy policy. We may close an account under the rules above.

No guarantees

PicIt is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that anything posted on it is accurate. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of Greece or the European Union.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by what other people post on PicIt. We remain fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and wherever the law says we must.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Greece, and disputes go to the courts of Greece. If you live elsewhere in the European Union, the consumer protections of your own country still apply, and you may also bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top, and we will tell you in the app about a significant change. Using PicIt after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using PicIt and ask us to delete your account.
